8a-Workshop (UPDATED): Videoconferencing - Basic Skills and Tools

Length: 3 hours

Learning Objective: Upon successful completion of the Videoconferencing - Basic Skills and Tools workshop, the learner will be able to:

accurately describe videoconferencing concepts, including situations where videoconferencing may be used
describe how to prepare for a videoconference
locate and utilize AGNR specific videoconferencing information on the web
describe who to contact for videoconference support
effectively participate in a videoconference
understand and use the Polycom videoconferencing unit's displays, controls, and additional features
operate videoconferencing peripherals

Description: This workshop is designed to introduce AGNR faculty and staff to the various features and components of the Polycom videoconferencing system. This hands-on workshop will assist learners in building the skills and providing the tools necessary to effectively deliver an interactive videoconference.
