Target Audience: 4-H Youth Development Faculty and Staff
Length: 1 hour
Learning Objective: To provide information about Maryland 4-H Club trends. To begin discussion about ways to strengthen the 4-H club program in Maryland.
Description: This one hour Centra session will provide an overview of the 4-H club enrollment trends in Maryland as a starting point for discussion about increasing 4-H club presence in the state. We'll focus on resources to support strengthening existing clubs and strategies for 4-H club expansion. Educators will share successful 4-H club practices and we will highlight 4-H club charter and fiscal responsibilities.
Methodology: The session will be presented via Centra and will include PowerPoint presentations and group discussion.
Pre-Work: It would be helpful for the participants to review the club enrollment data for their county/city 4-H program from 2006 through 2008.
