4s-Workshop (NEW): Microsoft Access-Working with Related Tables & Creating Calculated Fields

Length: 3 hours

Learning Objective: Upon successful completion of the Working with Related Tables & Creating Calculated Fields workshop, the learner will be able to:

  • Design databases made up of more than one table
  • Design with subforms, subreports, and subdatasheets
  • Create calculated fields based on existing fields
  • Use expressions made up of Visual Basic functions to extract, manipulate, and format data

Description: This workshop will take the user behind the scenes of a database application, demonstrating how the database designer can make make it easy for end-users to input data and view reports.

Methodology: Hands-on Workshop

Prerequisites: Prior experience with using Microsoft Access tables is helpful, but not required.
