4s-Workshop (NEW): Microsoft Access-Working with Related Tables & Creating Calculated Fields

Length: 3 hours

Learning Objective: Upon successful completion of the Working with Related Tables & Creating Calculated Fields workshop, the learner will be able to:

Design databases made up of more than one table
Design with subforms, subreports, and subdatasheets
Create calculated fields based on existing fields
Use expressions made up of Visual Basic functions to extract, manipulate, and format data

Description: This workshop will take the user behind the scenes of a database application, demonstrating how the database designer can make make it easy for end-users to input data and view reports.

Methodology: Hands-on Workshop

Prerequisites: Prior experience with using Microsoft Access tables is helpful, but not required.
