C.V. Workshop

Target Audience: UME Faculty

Length: 3 hours

Learning Objective: This workshop is being conducted to help faculty members understand the aspects of a Curriculum Vitae which will result in the ability to develop a complete C.V.

Description: The UME Administrative Team will host a CV workshop for all Extension employees required to complete an annual CV document. The workshop will be held Tuesday, December 18 from 1-4pm. A face to face site will be available at the Maryland 4-H Center and options to join via connect and teleconference will be available. This year, the first 1.5 hours will be focused on CV basics including overview of the University template and step by step overview through each section. New for this year, from 2:45 to 4pm, the workshop will focus on hearing from 4 Extension Educators who are working to transition their CV to a format more conducive to the University’s expectation of succinct structure.

Methodology: Live and in person at the Maryland 4-H Center as well as via Connect and teleconference.

This session will also be recorded.

Pre-Work: Participants need to have a copy of Format of a Curriculum Vitae available at http://www.faculty.umd.edu/policies/apt_forms.html and also need to have a rough draft of their C.V. ready to review and discuss.
