Mr. Steven M Rogowsky
Regional IT Coordinator
Western Maryland Research and Education Center
Steve is the UME IT Coordinator for Western Region I. He provides IT services, training and support for the faculty and staff of University of Maryland Extension, Maryland Agricultural Experiment Station, and Nutrient Management. Steve's territory includes the UME offices in the seven westernmost counties (all bordering Pennsylvania) and the Western Maryland Research and Education Center in Keedysville.
Steve received his BS in Economics with a minor in Computer Sciences from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. In addition to IT related work, past experience includes self-employment in the antiques restoration and home improvements fields, teaching in the public school system, and a stint as the Program Director for a research center at GMU.
Steve is married to Kim and they have three children; boy-girl twins and a younger son.
