Dr. Dennis is a 4-H Youth Development Specialist with a focus in Youth and Adult Leadership. She possesses a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Masters in Public School Administration, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
Her programmatic leadership and focus is in the design, implementation, teaching, and evaluation of existing, new and innovative interdisciplinary youth development program models that will provide positive youth development experiences and fulfill the expectations of the National 4-H Mission Mandate “Citizenship” with a specific focus in all areas of Youth & Adult Leadership Development.
She oversees the training, supervision, and implementation of 4-H Volunteer Development programs. Dr. Dennis provides statewide leadership for the Health Rocks! Program, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Program (OJJDP), Volunteer Development, After-school, State 4-H Teen Council, and State 4-H Volunteer’s Association.
Dr. Dennis has been employed by the University since 1995.
