EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND BA: Sociology, Trinity College, Hartford, CT MEd. Multicultural Education,University of Hartford, CT. Post grad work: Adult and Extension Education, University of Maryland, College Park, MD.
MCE HISTORY First employed in Maryland in Prince George's County in 1980 as County 4-H Coordinator. Became County Extension Director in 1983 through 1987. Returned to MCE in 1998 with a split appointment in 4-H and FCS with an emphasis on outreach and new audiences. In 2001, becamse 4-H Educator for Charles County and in 2004 was named Charles County Extension Director.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE/INTEREST Volunteer Leadership and Youth Development; Sports Nutrition for Youth; Middle School Fitness and Development; Equine Management and Performance; Youth Development through Animal Projects.
