Currently hold a Management Development Certificate through the College of Southern Maryland, which was completed in December, 2001.
Have worked in the Agricultural Science Department in the University of Maryland Extension Office since December, 1996. Since then, I have seen a generation of agents retire or resign, new agents come on board, and seen the State of Maryland, University, and County meet the challenges of a changing economy and world.
Our office is currently involved in helping the farmers with nutrient management, alternative crops, and continuing education. We also have the 4H traditional and outreach programs reaching our youth, in addition to Family and Consumer Science with focus on nutrition, FSNEP, and community outreach.
We are a small county with big ideas. St. Mary's is a beautiful place to live, work, and raise a family.
