Extension Goal: My focus as an Extension Educator is nutrition. Enthusiastically I “walk the talk” to educate and empower families to make healthy eating and physical activity a priority in their daily lives. My professional goal is to do meaningful work which uses my creative energy and nutrition expertise to develop and deliver programs to reach real people in my local community.
Professional Experience: My career focus as a dietitian has been in nutrition education with employment at The National Dairy Council, Maryland State Department of Education, and Maryland Cooperative Extension. I have worked with a variety of Federal nutrition programs - Nutrition Education and Training Program (NET), Team Nutrition, and Food Stamp Nutrition Education.
