Maryland Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Teach limited income families to acquire the knowledge and skills to maintain a nutritional sound diet. Committed to enhance the personal development of EFNEP participants since 1994, in Prince George’s County, and started in Montgomery County in 2005. Reaching an average of 200 families in a yearly basis, in partnership with; Family Support Centers, Montgomery County Public Schools – Linkages to Learning, Judy Hoyer Center, Even Start, Shady Grove Pregnancy Center, Family Foremost Center, Early Childhood Institute, Montrose Baptist Church, among others.
